Mean Girls

I still think Lindsey Lohan is awesome. Even if she's kind of a bitch now and it's almost impossible for her to make a comeback. She's an amazing actress.

I just rewatched Mean Girls today. It's one of my favorite movies other than Pirates of the Caribbean and Elizabeth: The Golden Age. I watched the trailer for Mean Girls 2 but just judging from the trailer, it's not as hilarious as the first movie. And I still think Rachel McAdams is pretty.

I had a small debate with my good friend Jay. What? It's not my fault that I fall asleep during action-packed movies where all the guys are in black suits or black leather jackets and have shotguns and pistols in all their pockets. Even the explosion noises can't wake me up because they're really boring. I watched The Avengers with Beverley and fell asleep during some parts. But hey, don't get me wrong, The Avengers is an awesome movie. It reminds me of my childhood.

EURO2012 and Hetalia

13 days to reopening of school and two weeks to my mid-year exams.  Tomorrow is time to mass-do my homework and hopefully finish it. I hate how everyone is rubbing it in. Especially those lucky bastards not taking extra languages. They don't have to do 10 Chinese book reviews.

Okay, enough about school. I don't mean to rant, but a few days ago, I had a huge arguement with my sister over me being homophobic. Homophobic means to be against homosexuality, bisexuality or anything that does not mean STRAIGHT. It all started because I told her that there was going to be a France vs England match the next day during EURO2012 and she began to go all enthusiastic about her Hetalia OTP, FrUK (FrancexEngland, two males in Hetalia, YAOI pairing, extremely impossible couple because they want to rip each other's faces off badly, senseless fluff).

She loves FrUK with burning passion. I get it. (Well duh, she's a stupid 16-year-old girl who faints over two men having passionate sex) I don't hate homosexuality, neither am I strongly against it. I just don't understand why it's so trendy among teenage girls. It's just two men having sex and confessing their undying love for each other in bed.

I'm not going to start on USUK. Because it has absolutely nothing to do with EURO2012. But it's a no-basis couple. The only reason why it's so popular among Hetalia fans is because the anime makes it so obvious that America and England love each other. It's disgusting how they're portrayed to love each other sexually, because it's more obvious that their love is simply the relationship between father and son. Think about it. Of course your father would be upset if you were no longer his son/daughter or if you decided to leave him to become independent. You think your freaking lover is the only person in the world who would react that way?

I'm not a fan of football, but if you are, I hope your favorite team wins! (Go Portugal!)

Lesson learnt: Show, don't tell.

Show: Such times seemed like everything that was settled in the real world did not differ much from that of the animal world. People refer others as animals to insult them, but here, those words fell on our ears like cheese flakes on tomato herb spaghetti. There were both positive and negative effects. Now, it was an everyday occurence to see human cannibalism. Food was just that scarce. Even those born in wealthy families would rather eat their own kind than anything in the dirt.

Tell: Money can't buy everything.

Show & Tell: Nobody can blame you for showing. Telling says that you're a judgmental freak who should be shot. No offence to anyone reading this. :)
